Please note that this game can only be played around MShed, the new museum of Bristol, UK.
Can you make it from poor journeyman to the mayor of Bristol, all in the next 60 mins? The streets and alleyways of 19th Century Bristol hold the promise of wealth and social advancement. All you have to do is find the opportunities and avoid the pitfalls.
A 19th Century map shows you where you can find things. Move around the map by moving around contemporary Bristol.
There are good things here, and bad. Some of these things are people, some are artefacts. Good things add to the your wealth, respectability and position. Collect these. Bad things (or people) take away your status and must be avoided.
The game shows you hidden corners of Bristol and uncovers stories long since hidden beneath the concrete of the modern city. Smuggle gold past the constables, marry for money and campaign for election, all in one hour. Success will bring you the honour of wearing the mayoral robes*
